Athul O Asok (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut in 2016 and his M. Tech. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 2019. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, India, in 2025.He has received several accolades, including the IEEE REC SB Best Design Paper Award at the Wireless Antenna and Microwave Symposium 2024 conference, held at Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam, India, and the Best Paper Award at Wireless Antenna and Microwave Symposium 2022, hosted by NIT Rourkela, India. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Antenna and Propagation Society Fellowship (APS-F) in 2022 and the Best Presenter Award at International IOT, Electronics and Mechatronics Conference 2020, held in Vancouver, Canada.

He has published more than 46 research papers in the area of microwave imaging. His current research interests include microwave imaging, ultra-wideband antennas and compact antennas.
